Dan Mangan & Bells Larsen @ Bronson Centre

A great Saturday night at the Bronson Centre Music Theatre with Dan Mangan and Bells Larsen.
Ottawa marked the final stop of Dan Mangan’s Natural Light tour, and the evening felt like a warm send-off.
The first set saw Dan performing his ninth album Natural Light from start to finish. The stage design resembled a cozy cottage, complete with Afghan blankets, lamps, and a video projection of a window looking out the lake which created a lovely, intimate atmosphere.
“Melody” stood out as a clear highlight of the set.
The second half of the show was filled with fan favourites like “Basket,” “Road Regrets,” “Cold in the Summer,” and “Post-War Blues.”
Naturally, Dan closed the night with the ever-popular “Robots,” joining the audience to sing along—an always-memorable moment.

Opening the night was Bells Larsen, who delivered a heartfelt set of acoustic folk-pop songs from their album Blurring Time.

It was definitely a great way to spend a Saturday night.
