Today the Taiwan band Elephant Gym has dropped two songs called Happy Prince / Ocean In The Night (Orchestra Version).
The two singles is taken from the band’s upcoming album called World which comes out on December 13, 2024 via Topshelf Records.
Happy Prince is a brilliant classical contemporary math/post-rock music sung in English.
While the orchestra version of Ocean In The Night is a nice dreamy Mandarin pop rock tune from the original 2013 version.

About the two songs by Elephant Gym:
Taiwan trio Elephant Gym glide through before the year ends with a burst of radiant energy on a pair of new singles, “Happy Prince” ft. YILE LIN and the orchestral rework of 2013’s “Ocean in the Night” ft. Hom Shenhao another offering from their upcoming ten year anniversary album, World.
Based on the Oscar Wilde tales of the same name,”Happy Prince” carefully eases you in with YILE LIN’s glittery yet calming vocal delivery, supported by lighter bass notes from bassist, KT Chang.
It eventually swirls back into the wide-eyed, math-rock wonder that the band has become known for over the last decade. On “Ocean in the Night”, Hom Shenhao reprises his striking vocals with new additions of brass and woodwinds from the Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra, resulting in a grander sense of emotion.
Both songs offer deep insight into the bubbling and frenetic spirit of World.
