Today the Toronto outfit Fresh Pepper who is led by longtime friends Andre Ethier and Joseph Shabason, dropped their track called Walkin’.
The second single is taken from their self-titled debut album which is out June 17, 2022 via Telephone Explosion Records.
A minimal instrumental experimental jazzy that grows half-way soundwise and gets you moving.
About the track:
Walkin’ which arrives as an instrumental, tries to capture the energy of making it to work on time. Against the noise and bustle of the city, a desperate prep cook texts a Hail Mary “Walkin'” to a sympathetic co-worker, hoping to buy a couple of minutes’ grace before arriving late again.
