Today, Los Angeles duo Green-House unveiled the music video for “Farewell, Little Islands,” the lead single from their upcoming third album Hinterlands, out March 20, 2026 via Ghostly International.
The track drifts along in a hazy, dreamlike space, blending experimental textures with warm ambient tones, offering a gentle and immersive preview of what’s to come on the new record.
About the track by Green-House:
“Farewell, Little Island” borrows its title from the 1987 short animated film directed by Sándor Reisenbüchler, which depicts the drowning of a village by modern technology.
The track’s buoyant, spiraling guitar samples, their first time exploring the effect, reminded them of the film’s paper-cut animation and of how the story balances serene splendor with tragedy.
