UPDATE: It’s going well but in baby steps. So far on naming this, is “Bytown Sessions” good? Any suggestions for a name for this??
This might be a daunting task to do but hopefully this could work out.
I know it sounds last minute but it’s still summer (depending on the weather).
Also I know I might get in trouble for stealing the idea from Live In Bellwoods and Southern Souls.
So please give me some ideas or feedback to this like naming the session.
But this would be mostly focused in Ottawa area settings.
So there are a few ideas I would like to bring up.
If it’s a park in Ottawa, which is the best place?
- Major’s Hill Park
- Confederation Park
- Dundonald Park
- Minto Park
Any suggestions for some open spaces in the city?
Should I be worried about the bylaw?
Need to clarify, I don’t want a stage.
Just want the band to play their music and have people who come, sit and enjoy it.
The session will be mostly acoustic.
If anyone is nice enough to help do the video, it would be cool.
Unless I will have to do it.
Doing this will be in this will be in the day time and probably the weekend.
Probably before the acts get in to do their sound check and close to downtown.
It will be a mix of Ottawa musicians and hopefully some out of towners too.
