Jeff The Brotherhood, Uncle Bad Touch and Peach Kelli Pop @ Babylon Nightclub

Jeff The Brotherhood @ Babylon Nightclub
First show in Ottawa since coming back to NXNE.
Feels kind of weird but at least I got to see people I knew tell stories on who I saw at the festival.
Considering this year most people in Ottawa stayed for Ottawa Explosion (which I missed out).

Anyways I was kind of excited to see this show.
Mostly because I haven’t seen Peach Kelli Pop play and it was my first time.
Also I want to see Jeff The Brotherhood.
Got to thank BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music for playing their songs on the air.
Meaning if they do well in UK, they might become somewhat popular and well known.
I wasn’t expecting Babylon to be small and narrow.
I am guessing there won’t be a big turnout.
But people did show up anyways.

The first band to play was Peach Kelli Pop.
It features Allie from The White Wires who plays drums.
She has her own project with this band.
I really loved it and was really cute to listen too.
The music is indie garage power pop.
Fun and catchy songs and enjoyed the set alot!

Second band was Uncle Bad Touch from Montreal.
Somehow I thought they were from America.
From the music they made it sounded like they were but I was totally wrong.
Their music is indie garage fuzzy lo-fi alterna-rock.
Cool that the female of the band played drums for the last song.

Lastly Jeff The Brotherhood played.
They totally ripped up their set big time!
It was a loud fun and crazy set.
So crazy that some people got too rowdy and I happened to lose my balance and fell on the ground.
At least my camera was fine but died of embarassment.
It was a totally loud rocking set.
Sad I could have stayed abit longer but at least I enjoyed their music.
