Definitely the big highlight at this year’s FME 2018 was Karkwatson.
First of a two-night show.
Karkwatson brings together Patrick Watson’s four-piece band and all five members of Karkwa for a complex, flexible, expressive musical languages.
It was totally an unbelievable show.
So unbelievable that I was bought to tears.
Hearing both acts perform Beijing was literally an experience and actually knowing Karkwa’s Les Chemin De Verre.
Great to see both Polaris Music Prize winners on the stage together.
