Today, Montreal-based musician and artist Kee Avil dropped the music video for “itch.”
The leading single is taken from her upcoming deconstructed album Vapor, which will roll out gradually throughout 2026, with a new track released every six weeks.
A full release date has yet to be announced via NNA Tapes.
An experimental and avant-garde art-pop track, “itch” is built around stark piano lines and haunting, intimate vocals that linger long after the song ends.

I wrote ‘itch’ on my creaky out-of-tune piano in the summer of 2024.
I remember the stillness, the open windows with no breeze.
It was right after Spine came out and usually after finishing an album, I need to step away from music, to figure out where I want to go next.
But this time I started writing right away, even though I felt like I had nothing to say, no direction.
I remember, it felt a bit like desperation, the need to do it without the energy to take on another album.
