Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a fantastic show at the National Arts Centre‘s Azrieli Studio featuring Kevin Drew and Zoon.
The atmosphere was lively, and the performances were top-notch, making it a lovely Thursday night outing.
Kevin Drew who was accompanied by Daniel Ledwell offered a blend of his solo work from “Aging,” “Darling,” and “Spirit If…” albums, along with some classic tunes from Broken Social Scene like World Sick and my favourite Lover’s Spit which was a memorable and intimate experience for the audience.
Zoon performed a 30-minute solo set which showcases his skill and artistry as a musician.
He played a new ambient piece, creating an immersive atmosphere for the audience with his enchanting soundscapes plus two tracks from Bekka Ma’iingan.
