After some delays Leif Vollebekk finally stopped in Ottawa’s (I’m going to say hometown) Bronson Centre for an amazing show.
Backed by a full band, the show was wonderful blend of folk, blues and rock.
Long time wait for promoting the 2019 album New Ways and played a few from Twin Solitude.
There was a slip in with some mini covers of Bonnie Raitt, Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy and Macy Gray.
Definitely one of my favorite shows for 2022.
Kicking off the show was Iceland’s Arny Margret.
A lovely solo acoustic folk pop music.
Arny even sang a song in Icelandic.
Hope to hear more in the future.
Overall a wonderful and greatly attended show for these two musicians.
