Last Sunday, I attended “Let’s Talk About Palestine: A Night of Solidarity”, presented by Oxfam Canada at Club SAW.
The evening featured a thoughtful conversation between George Stroumboulopoulos and Bushra Khalidi, Oxfam’s Policy Lead in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
Interwoven throughout were moving readings of poetry and personal testimonies by Alexa Mazzarello, Samira Mohyeddin, and Yipeng Ge, each sharing powerful reflections that resonated deeply with the audience.
The night also included a heartfelt musical performance by Jenn Grant, who debuted a new version of her song Dreamer, adding a stirring and emotional dimension to the program.
Overall, it was a powerful and deeply moving event that highlighted solidarity, resilience, and the importance of dialogue.
