Great Saturday night show at Live on Elgin with Mushy Gushy, Kiwi Jr. and Expanda Fuzz.
First band was Expanda Fuzz who did a wonderful indie noisy alternative-garage music.
Mix from their album/EP Cotton Candy Jet Engine and Bleuets.
Second band was Toronto’s Kiwi Jr.
They were the band I really wanted to see since they released their album Football Money in 2019 on Mint Records.
Wasn’t until this year that the album got the worldwide release on Persona Non Grata.
Great set of indie jangle garage pop-rock music!
Just occurred to me, that members of Kiwi Jr. used to be in a band called Boxer the Horse.
Ending the set was Mushy Gushy.
The Ottawa band did a loud garage pop rock set.
Mostly a mix of tracks from Bodybreak, More Butter and Tight Snake.
Nice Saturday to rock out.
