The third band that I stuck around at the Hand Drawn Dracula NXNE Showcase.
It was Dusted.
Having just saw them play the Vice/Jansport Bonfire Sessions that took place at Artscape Gibraltar Point.
I finally got to stick for a full set of their music.
This was the first time to actual hear Brian Borcherdt sing. Since I am familiar when he plays in Holy Fuck.
I actually like Dusted, it was a mix of indie psychedelic & grungey lo-fi rock.
Part of me reminded me of Chad Van Gaalen when he sang and the music styles of Dirty Beaches.
An amazing set that they put on.
