The last show of the night and coverage of NXNE 2012.
After seeing Teen Tits Wild Wives play at Sneaky Dee’s.
I was very excited for the secret guest who happened to be Yamantaka // Sonic Titan.
It’s been a whirlwind for them this year, their album has been long-listed for Polaris Music Prize and touring everywhere and captivating audiences with their Asian prog “Noh-Wave” show.

I felt like I was the only Asian guy at that show.
Of course with Yamantaka, they entered in style with the Dragon.
This time the members weren’t in costume but they did had makeup on their face.
I wonder how much they have spent buying makeup?
It was a brilliant set from beginning to end!
They didn’t play Hoshi Neko but they did play the Chinese (in Cantonese) numbers song with the chanting.
That was just amazing and kind of bought chills down my spine.
It was a perfect way to end off my night and NXNE of 2012.
