Ottawa Jazzfest 2026 [Day 4]

Sunday night was another perfect evening at the Ottawa Jazz Festival, and it turned out to be one of the festival’s most diverse nights so far.
There were two acts I was especially excited to catch. Performing on the main stage was Hiromi’s Sonicwonder, who delivered a brilliant set of modern jazz and fusion.

It was amazing to watch Hiromi in action, effortlessly moving between piano, keyboards, and synthesizers with incredible energy and precision.
Later that night on the Elgin Street Stage, the standout set of Sunday came from Seoul, South Korea’s Leenalchi.
Playing the first stop of their North American tour, the band put on an absolutely wild performance that blended pansori, alternative rock, and pop into something completely unique.

It was an intense, exhilarating set, and I’m so glad I got to finally see them perform live.
Overall, it was great to see the festival embrace such a diverse lineup and showcase artists with such distinct sounds and styles.
