Also playing March 13, 9pm Raw Sugar Cafe: Kids for Kids – Rise up for Haiti
The Dube Brothers, 9, 11, & 12 are raising money for the House of Hope orphanage and Grace Hospital for Children via Canadian Feed the Children.
Every dollar raised before Feb 12 will be matched by corporate sponsors by an additional two dollars up to $50K, so TRIPLE your impact. They are at $26K, so donate now at channelK.ca.
Who are the Dube brothers? They are Liam (12), Jan (11) and Quinn Dube and they started playing music as a way of keeping their mothers spirits up as she fought cancer in her bed (see http://www.youtube.com/mentalvelcro#p/u/2/1aC05-GEPFw). After she passed away in 2008, they started playing benefits for cancer. Since the disaster in Haiti, they have turned their focus on other kids who, like them, have lost their parents and they now support the House of Hope orphanage and Grace Children’s hospital.
