Ottawa Bluesfest 2011: Day 4

Another memorial day happened on Day 4 of Ottawa Bluesfest 2011.
Besides the weather and missing out the Black Keys.
There were other great acts that I saw on July 8th were:

I finally saw parts of Eamon McGrath from Toronto.
It was very gruffy rock sounding live.

Wow Cage The Elephant sure lively the MBNA stage.
It was totally loud and crazy!
There was a point when the lead singer jumped into the audience.

Blue King Brown is a band from Melbourne Australia.
Their music had that funky urban roots sound.
A really lively band that played at the Subway stage.

Rise Against was totally insane at the Claridge stage.
That is all I can say about it.

Hey Rosetta! who are short listed for the 2011 Polaris Music Prize played the Hard Rock stage.
Before the storm, they put on a great set.
There were people excited and showing their support for them.
Missed out after the storm that Tim went into the audience and did a acoustic singalong.

As for the Black Keys, I was going to shoot before the storm happened.
Whatever the case, the weather didn’t help much since it started to rain with strong winds.
Noticed the MBNA stage was being tear apart by the strong winds.
    It looked kind of scary.
I left like at 10pm because I had a long day with being wet and cold.

Here are the rest of the photos
