After the high energy of the night before, Day 8 of Ottawa Bluesfest 2025 offered a more mixed bag of performances, with a little something for everyone.
On the RBC Stage, the evening leaned into mainstream rock with a hard-hitting set from Papa Roach, a powerful performance from Daughtry, and an energetic hometown welcome for Ottawa’s own We Were Sharks.
While the volume was turned up, the crowds were more spread out—giving festivalgoers some welcome breathing room.
Meanwhile, over on the Lebreton Stage, indie pop fans were treated to the radiant harmonies and magnetic stage presence of Lucius, before them was the eccentric and captivating one-man blues-rock spectacle that is Bob Log III—helmet, jumpsuit, and all.
Kicking off was Rubber Tire Peep Show.
At the River Stage, it was a blues-heavy affair with standout sets by The Texas Horns, Ottawa’s own JW-Jones, and the electrifying Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, who closed things out with jaw-dropping guitar solos and soulful vocals.
It might not have had the sheer intensity of the previous night, but Day 8 offered a chance to take things in at a more relaxed pace—and that’s never a bad thing at a multi-day festival.
