At least it was at Babylon Nightclub and since I wasn’t able to go down to Toronto for CMW.
It was a great show presented by Ottawa Explosion and two bands from Ottawa who I’ve seen alot this year.
The bands that performed that night were Protomartyr, Scattered Clouds and Baberaham Lincoln.
Detroit’s Protomartyr put on a great show of their alternative post punk music. Promoting their current album The Agent Intellect. It was alot of people dancing. I still think of them as if the National went post-punk.Second band was Scattered Clouds. Already seen them perform two weeks ago at St. Alban’s Church. I have to say they sound alot better at Babylon. It was like the same set two weeks ago but they are also awesome live.Starting off the show was Baberaham Lincoln. Great set as always and finally they will release their EP during Ottawa Explosion Weekend. Look out for that!
