After a two-day break, Ottawa RBC Bluesfest 2016 came back into full swing but came on the hottest day Ottawa had to endure.
With the heat to struggle through, there were some great highlights on the fifth day of the festival.
Alessia Cara literally shined on the City Stage playing to an overwhelming and exciting crowd.
The 20-year-old musician from Brampton performed a wonderful set of R&B and Pop music from her debut album Know-It-All.
Telling the Ottawa audience she is living proof that your dreams can come true.
Very confident, chill and laid back during her performance.
Other great highlights were Half Moon Run, XXYYXX, The Decemberists and Jack Broadbent.
For the local acts covered were Danielle Allard and Her Harbour.
