I had a lovely October 22nd.
Went to a secret show with Jim Bryson.
On Monday I went to the listening party for the album Falcon Lake Incident (Review).
I was told from Jon who is the head of Kelp Records that there was going to be a “secret show”.
Been a wild week for Jim doing alot of promoting with the album.
Anyways the show took place on 73 Preston St.
It was a lovely gallery called WIP (aka Work In Progress).
It was a nice intimate show.
Of course he sang mostly from the new album and he had one request for an older track.
The secret guest was David Myles.
At guessing it would have been the Weakerthans by I was wrong.
David was amazing on the horns.
Great show and you definitely get “The Falcon Lake Incident” on vinyl or CD.
There should be some shows at 73 Preston St (Mostly acoustic, low key ones).
