Shania Twain @ Ottawa Bluesfest 2025

Sunday was quite literally a big, hot night at Ottawa Bluesfest 2025.
Headlining the RBC Stage was none other than country pop icon Shania Twain.
The last time she played Ottawa was a few years back, and I figured this appearance might mark the end of her album cycle—or maybe she just wanted to throw a huge party for fans.
I’ll admit I was skeptical about what to expect from her return to Bluesfest on Sunday night.
But I couldn’t have been more wrong: Shania delivered an unbelievable show, and she did it without relying on over-the-top production.
She kicked things off with “Rock This Country,” which sparked a rousing reaction from the crowd, especially when the Canadian flag lit up the video screen.
That energy carried straight into fan favourite “Don’t Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)”, “Up”, “You’re Still The One” and many more.
Overall, Shania was in fine form vocally and brought an infectious, genuine energy to the stage.
It was a fantastic way to close out the festival’s first weekend.
