It was a fun and packed November 5th show at Zaphod Beeblebrox.
Toronto’s all girl Weezer cover band Sheezer returned to Ottawa.
You can say “third time’s the charm”.
With one show cancelled and another show (next door) that was sold out.
The place was pretty packed with uni/college kids and those wanting to have a nostalgic time singing to Weezer songs from the Blue and Pinkerton album.

The show started off with Ottawa’s Camp Radio.
Having seen them back in September with their album release.
They totally rocked it out with their indie garage/power pop-rock tunes from the album “Campista Socialista“.
The audience were having a blast with their music.
Great band to see live.

Then it was Sheezer’s turn to come up.
Already the place was full and very excited.
This time they didn’t wear any costumes like their Lee Palace’s show where they dressed up as Spice Girls or last year where they dressed up as Sailor Moon.
Simply a fun nostalgic time for those at the show.
Everyone was singing outloud to every song and lots of dancing around.
I seem to lose my voice midway through the show due to singing out loud to Buddy Holly and El Scorcho.
The show felt like a united front with uni/college kids wanting to have a fun time mix with middle age people who grew up listening to the Blue and Pinkerton album.

Encore they did Undone (The Sweater Song) [Which they weren’t going to do but they did due to demand from the audience] and Only In Dreams.
It’s great that Sheezer’s fanbase in Ottawa is growing.
A very fun show on November 5th.
Here are the rest of the photos.
