The final day of Side By Side Weekend 2024 was nothing short of spectacular. The day started off with a vibrant day show at the park, presented by Congrego. The weather was perfect—a nice hot summer day—setting the ideal backdrop for some fantastic performances.
Mars Aspen kicked off the event at Bronson Park with their catchy melodies and upbeat acoustic pop set the tone for the day.
Next up was Modeville, who delivered a beautiful acoustic English and French Pop music at the Pumphouse Park, blending their unique sound with impressive performance presence.
Deelo Avery closed out the day show with soulful vocals and intricate instrumentals on making it a perfect end to the afternoon.
As the day turned to night, I decided to head over to the night show to catch some more incredible acts.
Arthritis Kid had the crowds into the synth electro-pop dance music. Their music created a fun atmosphere.
Dart Trees brought a burst of energy to the stage. Their dynamic set and engaging performance kept the crowd hyped and eager for more.
Teenage Fiction then took the stage, delivering a moody indie alternative music.
Montreal’s Sasha Cay provided a beautiful, introspective set that was both soothing and thought-provoking. Her haunting vocals and poignant lyrics left a lasting impression.
Finally, Grey Brisson/Lady Grey and the Phantoms who I checked out for a few songs before heading out and say that was a fun Side by Side Weekend.
