Sound of Lions – Take Me With You [Review]

SoundofLions-TakeMeWithYou
Finally took the time to get to listen to Sound of Lions second album Take Me With You.
It is actually a great album and their strongest effort.
With the great vocals of Whitney Delion singing with emotions of lost and hope.
Drummer Marco Campagna told me that Take Me With You is a conceptual about the ending of a relationship.
With all the folk and garage/punk happening in Ottawa.
Sound of Lions is something you don’t hear a lot in the Ottawa music scene and it’s very refreshing.
If you like pop and trip-hop that has a hint of Portishead and Linkin Park, then check them out.
Best tracks:

  • You and Me
  • Bats
  • Gold
  • Bedrooms
  • Skyline
  • Telephone

I’d give Take Me With You an 9/10.
