Stars and Hey Rosetta! @ NAC Southam Hall [February 7, 2015]

This was the first concert of the year at the NAC.
As part of the NAC Presents Series for 2015.
Very exciting show to see Stars and Hey Rosetta! at the Southam Hall.
Stars @ NAC Southam Hall
Stars was the headliner of the night.
They were promoting their latest album “No One Is Lost” to the Ottawa audience.
Began with the first single from the album From The Night.
Where everyone got on their feet and dance to the song.
It was a mix bag from the latest to old discography minus materials from the first album Nightsongs.

Might get the wrath of Torq with this little criticism.
Being an awesome show and all, I felt the sound was very bassy and getting Stars-fatigue considering I’ve seen them various times since 2007.
Happy to hear classics like Ageless Beauty, Take Me To The Riots, Hold On When You Get Love and Let Go When You Give It, Dead Hearts,Fixed and Your Ex-Lover Is Dead.
Hey Rosetta! @ NAC Southam Hall
The first band to perform was Hey Rosetta!
They were promoting their fourth album Second Sight.
I wasn’t familiar with that album (Which I should listen to) but they put on an amazing show.
The ones that stood out was of course Yer Spring where some of the audience had sparklers (I was like better becareful) and Red Heart where the audience got to stand up.
Felt like people were there to see this band than Stars.
