The Dodos and Palehound @ The 27 Club

Monday nights can be a tough sell for bands to play in Ottawa.
But I wanted to see two acts that are on Polyvinyl Records.
It was The Dodos and Palehound.
The Dodos and Palehound @ The 27 Clbu
Starting off the set was Boston’s Palehound.
I was hoping for something loud but it was more of a moody indie rock set.
Also they didn’t have their drummer with them.
It was a mix of A Place I’ll Always Go plus some new tracks for their upcoming album. 7/10.

Then it was the Dodos turn to perform.
Don’t remember when was the last time I saw them perform.
It was a wonderful set of indie alternative rock and folk music.
They are currently promoting their new album Certainty Waves which came out in October.
It was a mix of new and old materials and it was an enjoyable show. 7/10.
