It’s been a weekend of seeing acts from Montreal performing in Ottawa.
To end off the Easter holiday was going up to Le Temporaire and see three bands, two from Montreal and one from London Ontario.
Performing at Debaser‘s Spring Thing was The Luyas, You’ll Never Get To Heaven and Future States.
The Luyas recently released their fourth album called Human Voicing.
It was their album release and performed mostly from it.
Wonderful dreamy alternative pop music that made you sway back and forth.
You’ll Never Get to Heaven was one band that I definitely and excited to see.
Hence the name of the band, their music really made you want to get to heaven.
They recently released their album Images which happens to be on Yellow K Records.
Their set which had video visuals was filled with dreamy atmospheric ambient pop music.
So happy that I caught them since they hadn’t played in Ottawa in quite a long time.
