Wardrobe – Better Days [Listen]

Today, Toronto-based act Wardrobe, the latest project from Laurent Bourque, unveils its debut single, Better Days, featuring Aquakultre.
This track is a vibrant fusion of pop, soul, R&B, and electronic elements, offering a refreshing and dynamic listening experience.

About the track by Laurent:
““Our goal with this song was really to write about our childhoods… we wanted to capture the nostalgia we were feeling in the moment and write something extremely fun. It’s a song about skateboarding, staying up too late with your friends, about music, and about falling in love,” shares Wardrobe. The song is a celebration of the past and a realization that the present is better than you could have ever imagined.

Wardrobe adds about the creative process, “loser supreme, and I worked on this concept for several months before showing it to Lance (Aquakultre), who absolutely nailed the storyline. We worked so hard on making the beat as nostalgic as possible. Sam (loser supreme) and I both grew up listening to so much hip-hop, and we wanted to fuse those kinds of drum loops with pop and soul music. Once we added Lance’s incredible verse and Evan Porter’s horns section, the entire thing made all the sense in the world. The concept came to life!””
