While Montreal got dumped by the tail-end of Hurricane Debby with a monsoon of heavy rain on August 9, 2024.
This didn’t stop people from coming out to a show at Théâtre Fairmount with Wild Nothing and Peel Dream Magazine.
I for one wanted to see Peel Dream Magazine since the band will be releasing a new album in September.
While their set was more of a post-punk shoegazey set.
It was great to see them live.
Wild Nothing came up and it was wonderful set of indie electro-synth-pop and dreamy rock set.
Playing materials from the current album Hold and favourites from Gemini, Indigo and Nocturne.
I enjoyed mostly their dreamy synth-pop songs than the indie rock ones.
Overall it was a nice Friday night despite having a soaked footwear.
