Debaser put on a fantastic Friday night show at Club SAW, featuring Witch Prophet and ChristJay.
The Toronto-based Witch Prophet delivered a captivating set drawn from their 2026 album Words Are Spells, Thoughts Are Magic, blending cool jazz fusion, neo-soul, and trip-hop into a rich, immersive sound.
Their performance was elevated by strong, thoughtful storytelling that gave many of the songs an added emotional depth.
Opening the night was Ottawa’s ChristJay, who brought a smooth mix of R&B and pop to the stage.
A standout moment was his rendition of Ain’t No Sunshine by Bill Withers, which was delivered with both style and sincerity.
