You may not know that on March 5, 2010 I decided to make up this website.
Technically I’ve been photographing this since 2008-ish if I remember correctly.
I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for so long.
This site is not as big and well known from other music sites (who shall be nameless).
Since it is mostly a photo-site, I do the reviewing of albums/EP/singles that I really like (Despite the naysayers).
I still kept going to shows and photographing the bands/artist who has been playing the lovely city of Ottawa.
Also great festivals like Pop Montreal, Arboretum Festival, Megaphono, Ottawa Explosion, NXNE, Bluesfest and others around that I could photograph.
To great venues which is going to be alot to list.
Since I am the lone wolf who runs this site, it is very hard getting contributors to help me out.
But I seem to handle doing this well on my own and great at multitasking.
That is why getting a radio show can be handy at times!
While there will be highs and lows in the music scene.
I will still enjoy it as it happens.
While I not be mentioned in the thank you section for their albums.
But I am still a big supporter of their music.
I will not make a splash about this but do come out on March 25th at the Blacksheep Inn.
Here is to more years capturing the music scene in Ottawa and beyond.
