It was the first of two sold-out shows at Babylon Nightclub with Alvvays and Absolutely Free.
Getting denied a media pass from LiveNation, I happened to know a friend who had an extra ticket but found out the night of the show and thanks to Absolutely Free for putting me on the guest list.
Anyways the show started off with Toronto’s Absolutely Free.
All I can say is yes to seeing them in 2017.
Having missed out a few of their shows it was great hearing their psych-art rock music!
Being a short set, they perform some tracks from their 2014 album and some new tracks.
Alvvays was next and so I had to use my iPhone to take photos.
It was a great show, to say the least.
The only problem was not hearing Molly’s vocals loud enough.
There was high energy in the audience dancing and singing their song.
Don’t forget this was night one and hopefully, their second night will improve.
With such great songwriting, they have the potential to be as big as Arcade Fire (Let’s hope!).
