Here are some photos from Amen Dunes‘s set at the Blacksheep Inn in Wakefield, Quebec, on April 4, 2014.
The New York psych-rock trio was the second of two opening acts for Mac DeMarco on this stop of his Salad Days tour.
Despite arriving late and having little time to get set up, Amen Dunes still managed to deliver a memorable performance. The band’s dreamy, moody alternative pop and psych-rock sound created a hazy atmosphere inside the intimate venue, offering a nice contrast to the more chaotic energy that would follow with Mac DeMarco.
It was an impressive set considering the circumstances, and Amen Dunes made the most of their limited time on stage.
Their reverb-heavy guitars and atmospheric sound gave the performance a wonderfully hypnotic quality.
