With the weather getting very cold, 4in1 Music Sessions held it’s first indoor sessions.
It took place at Antique Skate Shop on November 25th.
Playing at the sessions:
• The Love Machine
• Peas&Carrots
• Sarah Jane Johnston
• Maxist Cowboy
• Yanis
Yanis was the first act to play.
Second was Sarah Jane Johnston.
She played a nice set of acoustic folk pop music.
Having seen her accidentally at a friend’s house show.
Really loved her rendition of a Edith Piaf song.
Third was The Love Machine.
Hadn’t seen them play a acoustic set in quite awhile.
They were great and they mostly previewed tracks on a upcoming EP.
Fourth was a Peas&Carrots.
For those not aware, it is Michael who drums for The Love Machine’s other music project with his girlfriend.
It was totally a cute shortset.
Both played a nice acoustic folk pop music.
Very adorable to see!
Lastly was Marxist Cowboy.
Only two members played and it was very cool to see.
One of the members played the cello.
Really great set.
Overall there was a great turnout for the indoor edition of 4in1.
Don’t forget the next one is on December 16th at Carleton’s Architect building.
