It was the first of two night at the NAC Theatre for A Winter’s Night.
A collaboration with The Festival of Small Halls and NAC Presents which featured Donovan Woods, Basia Bulat and Skydiggers for a night of intimate music.
It was a great way for these acts to showcase their music for the young and older audience that was in attendance.
Skydiggers catered to the fans who love their roots rock music and did some Christmas songs.
Basia Bulat was my favorite set, only played the one new song “Your Girl” from the upcoming album “Are You in Love?” out March 27, 2020.
Did a new arrangement of In The Name Of and played favorites like Infamous, Heart of My Own, The Pilgriming Vine Heart of My Own and Tall Tall Shadow.
Best parts was Basia Bulat ended off with Fool and added in abit of “All I Want For Christmas Is You”.
Then Donovan Woods came out and did Blue Christmas with Basia Bulat to do a quick change around on the stage.
Donovan Woods performed his set of his own music.
Did his version of Hey Rosetta! Carry Me Home for his holiday music.
It was a wonderful night.
