Bluesfest 2009: Day 7

Bluesfest went back to normal yesterday after the only stage with STP and Gym Class Heroes.
I have to say it was a calm night. And its before the big spectacle of KISS which happens to be tonight.

The acts that I saw were:

Marc Charron

The Allrights

Ice Cube
Surprised that I got to take photos of his set, considering hip-hop acts have very tight security.
Still have my head scratching to why he opened up for Our Lady Peace.
No offence, he is more of a bigger draw celebrity wise.

The Yardbirds
Somehow being in the Subway Stage I felt like I was in Woodstock.

Xavier Rudd
Got to love the didgeridoo.
The Zombies
Wasn’t expecting to be poppy-rock but at least the people there enjoyed them.

Our Lady Peace
I was happy hearing the classics like One Man Army and Superman’s Dead.
While waiting in line for Xavier Rudd’s autograph which took forever, I did get to hear their whole set.
Happy that I heard Clumsy, 4 AM and Is Anyone Home?

I caught one Zombies song, and I”m a big fan..but I left. I couldn’t believe those same people wrote the classic, Time Of The Season. Unfortunately a lot of older musicians just….lose it.
