Boys Who Say No drops Contingencies with a three track teaser

Boys Who Says No is a indie rock band from Toronto.
I happened to catch part of their live set during NXNE 2010.
They played right after Rich Aucoin at this interesting BBQ show.
If you were wondering why one of the members looks familiar.
Maybe because that he was in this TV show called “Degrassi The Next Generation” where he played a bad ass kid.

The band consist of four members and childhood friends who are:

  • Luke Corriea Damude
  • Frank Cox-O’Connell
  • Mike Lobel
  • Antonio Naranjo

I was kind of surprised there wasn’t any hype for them.
Until today I got the news that the band will drop their first full-length album called Contingencies.
Contingencies will drop on February 21, 2012 (That is the day after my birthday).
They have earned comparisons to the likes of Hey Rosetta!, Born Ruffians, and Okkerville River.
Contingencies is 12 songs packed with catchy lyrics, great melodies, and music that is undeniably made for dancing.

So far the band has release a three track teaser on their Bandcamp.
Have a listen to:
Atonement which is a upbeat intense tune.

Ms.Lee another upbeat and catchy lyrics tune.

Small Town Girl

Hope they will make a stop in Ottawa for a show in 2012.
