Recently the Ottawa act Chemical Club dropped two music videos for Rise Again and Couches Killing.
First new materials to come out in 2023 via Arts & Crafts.
Both have this moody indie lo-fi alterna-pop vibe tune.
About the tracks by Chemical Club:
The mid-tempo groovy indie-pop “Rise Again” which features catchy bass lines and jangly guitar slides, is about feeling like a passenger in your own life and working towards climbing into the drivers seat one morning at a time: “I let my thoughts get the best of me / Recently more than I would like / I can’t sleep so I’ll just sleep in”
“Couches Killing Me” is a triumphant alt rock track that offers a look into vices and escapism: “We weren’t looking for meaning / We were looking for relief”
