CityFolk 2025 [Night 1]

Ottawa’s summer isn’t quite over, but the first night of the CityFolk Festival at Lansdowne Park marked the perfect transition into fall.
Headlining the main stage was Alex Warren, who delivered an energetic one-hour set and, of course, closed with his chart-topping single Ordinary.

Sharing the main stage earlier in the evening were American rapper Paul Russell and Toronto R&B singer Tafari Anthony, both bringing their own unique energy to kick off the festival.

Over at the Fasken stage, the spotlight shone on emerging talent with sets from Montreal’s Honarah, Gatineau’s Mia Kelly, and Ottawa’s own Tyler Shaw, who drew such a big crowd that the intimate stage felt completely packed.
