Attended the Rosemary Films MMVA Official Afterparty at the Ballroom in Toronto on June 19, 2011.
The venue is right beside the Much Music building, where they were hosting the big awards ceremony.
The place had two floors, the top was the club/bar while the bottom was a bowling alley.
I was there to see Data Romance and Arkells play.
Data Romance was first to play and I finally got a chance.
With the busy schedule at NXNE and decided to stay on a Sunday in Toronto.
Why not check them out.
I was really impressed with their set.
Their music is electronica dance pop.
Since I didn’t know anyone at the place, I mostly hung with Ajay and Amy.
After their set, we went downstairs and played some bowling.
It was really fun and I don’t know I was hanging and bowling with Colin Minihan who directed Mother Mother’s Oh My Heart.
Amy and I didn’t bowl very long because we wanted to go back upstairs to see the Arkells play.
Anyways it was a fun time at the Ballroom!
