Its already February!!
Playing at Cafe Dekcuf were:
• Dinosaur Bones

• Prussia

• Sound of Lions

This is the first Dinosaur Bones and Sound of Lions show of 2012.
I wonder how many times will I see them this year? 😛
At first I thought this line up would be somewhat different with the line up.
Turned out to be great.
Sound of Lions was first to go up.
I think this was their first time playing at Cafe Dekcuf (If I am correct?).
They put on a great trip-hop, dancey set.
I was with a friend who finally got to see them live and she was impressed.
Branko of Dino Bones was enjoying their set too.
Check out their music.
Hoping good things will happen for them in 2012.

Next was Prussia from Detroit.
I wasn’t familiar with their music but I thought it was cool that a US band is touring with Dino Bones.
Usually some bands from the USA would skip Ottawa.
When they played, I was really impressed with their set.
Their music was very indie synth-alternative pop.
Very fun, unique music and let’s say “quirky” lyrics.
They were in support of their EP “Poor English (Which you can get on Bandcamp and comes in a series of three parts EPs)
Just found out that they opened up for tUnE-yArDs last year which should be a good thing.

Listen to Sleeper. (via)
Last was Dinosaur Bones from Toronto.
I’ve seen them so many times that I lost count.
Still a great indie rock band to see live.
The band played about three new songs which will be on the new album.

Of course they played my favorites which were Ice Hotels, Royalty and NYE.
Overall I totally enjoy the show on a Wednesday night.
Here are the rest of the photos.
