Lovely and intimate show at St. Luke’s Church which is on 760 Somerset St. West.
The long awaited LP release show for Flying Hórses‘ Reverie.
Starting off the show was Socalled.
It has been so long since I last saw him perform.
This was a different show for Socalled since it was a solo-piano performance.
He did a lovely cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Dance Me To The End of Love” and new materials for his upcoming album. 8/10.
Then it was Flying Hórses turn, performing mostly from Reverie.
Lovely projection by MAVN.
Being a church show can be a logistic nightmare when there is no lighting on the artist.
Still it was a wonderful and beautiful set of experimental instrumental music. 9/10.
