Foxwarren – Yvonne [Music Video]

Today, Canadian quintet Foxwarren—comprised of Andy Shauf, Avery Kissick, Darryl Kissick, Dallas Bryson, and Colin Nealis—unveiled the animated collage music video for their latest single, “Yvonne.” Created by Meghan Fenske, the video complements the track’s gentle, nostalgic mood with a rich tapestry of hand-cut imagery and playful movement.
“Yvonne” is the second single from their long-awaited sophomore album, 2, due out May 30, 2025, via Arts & Crafts (Canada) and ANTI- Records (internationally).
A short and lovely dream-pop-tinged soft rock tune, “Yvonne” shimmers with breezy guitars, warm textures, and Shauf’s signature mellow vocals—an inviting return from the band after a lengthy silence.

About the track by Foxwarren:
“Yvonne” is a compulsory study of love’s strange spell.
Shauf sets the beach-like scene above a polyrhythmic sampled loop, and then when his vocal harmonies hit the string section singing, “I don’t know what I’d do without you, Yvonne,” it’s like watching the sun rise in someone else’s eyes.
“Yvonne, the woman scanning the beach each morning for buried treasure, deserves a love song too,” the band says.
A collage-style animated video by artist Meghan Fenske accompanies “Yvonne”, nodding to the cut-and-paste elements of 2.
