Something that came out in 2015 sees the light of day through the streaming ages and with the global pandemic of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
“Heavy Gold is a collection of the first recordings made by Toronto’s Goodbye Honolulu and happens to be Selena Gomez‘s favorite band (?).
They recorded most of the layers completely live off the floor, with all four members playing together in the same room over the course of two days. A few of these songs have been a part of their live set for a long time, but they have never released them across all streaming platforms before. Since they are all stuck inside, they figured it’d be fun to share these songs from 2015 for everyone!”
Listening to Heavy Gold has that rougher on the edges on how it was recorded but still great to rock out to.
