I finally got a chance to see Montreal’s Grimes play live.
She played at the Great Hall for NXNE and she was right after Chad VanGaalen.
Man that was a really fun set.
Her music was filled with dancey, dream pop sounds.
All she had was some equipment on the table and she had Daniel (ex-Spiral Beach) play drums for the first time.
Looked like alot stayed after Chad ended and surely people who were there had an awesome time.
It was my favorite set despite being really tired and exhausted during the 1am time.
