Listened to the recent Handsome Furs album “Face Control”.
The album came out on March 10, 2009.
At the show they were singing tracks from Face Control.
They are such nice people (to my surprise) and mentioning that the new album would be out in 2009.
On to the album.
Love it and fun to dance to.
Favorite tracks are:
- Legal Tender
- Talking Hotel Arbat Blues
- I’m Confused
- Thy Will Be Done
- Radio Kaliningrad.
They are labeled as indie rock. I would like to label them as indie synth-dance-electro-pop-rock.
Something about this band I enjoy alot, probably its their music.

I am excited to hear this one, as I thought “Plague Park” provided real promise for the future of the group.
Thy Will Be Done is great, the album cover not so much.
