On Jan 6th was the first houseshow of 2010 I have attended.
It was a lovely evening of acoustic folk rock.
Nice to see the lovely people who I haven’t seen in awhile.
Great way to chat up with the people and new people too.
The show was hosted by Rolf of the Acorn.
Playing at the Florence Gardens were:
Leif Vollebekk who has been covered in this site does not need any introduction.
Read the revisited album review that was posted last night.
All I can say that 2010 will be a great start for Leif.
He played a wonderful set.
His re-release album was not out yet. I was hoping to get the vinyl version of the album.
An musician you have to see for 2010.
Al Tuck was up.
He was accompanied by Catriona Sturton doing the harmonica.
It was a nice acoustic folk rock bluesy atmosphere.
A East Coast feel to it.
It was a great night of music at Florence Gardens.
Nice to see the people who attended enjoy the music and sat on the floor.
Also it was Jarret Bartlet’s birthday too.

seeing you in a giant electric-blue Snuggie was worth the price of admission.
