Recently Toronto musician Jeremie Albino dropped the music video for I Don’t Mind Waiting.
The second single is taken from the upcoming album Our Time In The Sun which comes out on November 1, 2024 via via Good People Record Co. (CAN) and Easy Eye Sound (Outside of Canada).
The track is a throwback to the retro soul rock vibe.

“I wrote ‘I Don’t Mind Waiting’ with Dan Auerbach and Pat McLaughlin,” says Jeremie on today’s single.
“The early acoustic demos left a lot of room for the song to grow, and when we got into the studio, the groove the band started playing was so good; Malcolm holding down the beat, Tommy Brenneck laying down the bass groove.”
“When Dan started playing those bumps on rhythm guitar, it all came together so nicely.
The start of the song, when the band comes in, reminded me of the Charmels ‘As Long As I’ve Got You,’ or ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ by Wu-Tang Clan.
I thought it would fit perfectly as the song to open up the album.
“I Don’t Mind Waiting” is a classic song of love and longing, holding onto a love that might be a hopeless case, but you just can’t help yourself but hold on to it, hoping all the promises will one day come true.”
