Today Joel Plaskett Emergency dropped a eighth single, entitled Tough Love.
This is the eighth song (almost ending soon) in a series of ten to be recorded and digitally released by Joel and his band The Emergency; one song a week for ten weeks before Scrappy Happiness drops out on March 27, 2012.

Here is what I think of the single:
It has that deep down, dirty and hard edge rock sound to it.
Kind of got me rocking out to it.
The song reminds me of his previous songs from the Truthfully Truthfully era of the tracks “Written All Over Me” and “Work Out Fine”.
I guess no video yet for Tough Love.
Sure is a great rocking track!
